Christmas Day

We had a very relaxed Christmas Day! The kids didn't wake us up too early. We opened presents right away and then later on in the morning both sets of grandparents came over for brunch. We had omelets-in-a-bag, cinnamon rolls, fruit and other cookies and candy! We didn't have anywhere to go so all of us stayed in our PJ's all day - it was great!

Lindholm Family Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with my family on Christmas Eve.  We went to my parents house and had a late lunch. Elyse had to sing at the Christmas Eve service at Fellowship - so after lunch we went to that. It was the children's service and all the kids attending (even if they weren't in choir) could dress up as a character (Mary, Joseph, wiseman, angel) or an animal from the manger scene. It was so cute as they read the different parts of the Christmas story - the kids were asked to come up on stage and act it out. We found an old costume from my Aunt Chris and Elyse wore it to dress up like Mary. She brought one of her baby dolls for baby Jesus.

Then we went back to my parents house to open presents and have dessert.

Schurman Family Christmas

We had everyone over to our house for the Schurman Family Christmas. We had a nice dinner and Andrew enjoyed eating the "drumstick"!

Then it was present time. Kailey got matching boots and gloves from us and her new hat from Grandma and Grandpa matches too!

Elyse got Kaya - the American Girl Doll she has been wanting for a long time! She was so excited!

I got a Keurig for Christmas - which will be so nice to have when we have company over. Jeff got a step for the boat - even though he isn't the one that needs the step! It is more for the kids and I so we don't have to step on the seat when we are getting in and out of the boat.

After opening presents the kids played with some of their new toys and we had fun playing with different apps on our smartphones - taking pictures of everyone and making them look old, fat, etc.  The kids thought it was hilarious and we all had a good time laughing at everyone's pictures!
